Lubaga Hospital hosted an Urban Refugee Stakeholders’ Breakfast Meeting, bringing together community leaders representing refugee communities from Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Somalia, South Sudan, Ethiopia and beyond. The engagement provided an important platform to listen, understand shared health needs, discuss access to healthcare and explore practical areas of collaboration. At Lubaga Hospital, we believe that sustainable healthcare partnerships are built through listening, trust and meaningful engagement. We look forward to strengthening this relationship with urban refugee leadership and working together to promote better health and well-being for the communities we serve.
